• Image of Salmonberry Fine Silver Pendant

Salmonberries grow all around here in the Oregon forest. The bear love them. They look like a blackberry, but are salmon orange in color. I love having cool organic stuff growing around me to make jewelry with.

Silver Art Clay is made from silver reclaimed from photography and X-ray film, combined with an organic binder. It can be formed just like clay: rolled, stamped, coiled, joined, and is then dried. Then it is fired by kiln or flame and the organics burn out, leaving either fine or sterling silver depending upon the formula. It is versatile and fun to work! This was made by coating an actual leaf; when fired in the kiln, the leaf burns out.

18" sterling silver Singapore-style neck chain included.

1 3/4" X `1 1/2" approx.
