Mexican Fire Agate 14 Karat Gold Fill Wirewrapped Pendant

$163.00

I bought this interesting fire agate cabochon from an artisan in Loreto, Mexico, my favorite sunny spot. It is hard to capture the colors in photography, but there are some small spots of fiery color, and some agate fortification as well.

Fire agate is a variety of chalcedony, produced from volcanic activity. Layers of fiery color are seen as sheets or bubbles, and come in many colors. It is found in Mexico and Arizona. Agate is believed to protect the wearer and promote good health.

Wrapped in 14 karat gold filled wire. 14 karat gold fill wire is durable, containing about 100 times more gold than gold plate. It is considered to be heirloom quality.

18" rolo 14 kt gold fill neck chain included.

2 1/16" X 1 1/8" approx.
